Hello everyone,
The lifeless gaps of the black blind windows spewed out swarms of buzzing insects. An incredible stench enveloped the old spire in a suffocating cloud. Only the gloomy ringing of a gigantic bell occasionally broke the oppressive silence. Pestilence came to the upper Spires and whole Houses fell. But then, from the depths of the deserted halls, the sounds of terrible music, dead laughter and the loud clacking of hungry jaws began to be heard. Feast. Feast of the dead. A feast during the plague!
For some reason, traditionally revived poxwalkers are always hard workers, sailors and other representatives of the lower classes of society. I decided that this is not always the case and fantasized a little on this topic. The house of the nobles is gripped by the plague, the inhabitants and servants rise from the dead. The lower ones are forced to experience eternal hunger, while their masters get everything, their bodies swell, they grow and they need even more, because madness and the curse have already taken deep roots. Insane eye sockets glow with malice from under crooked wigs, the flesh changes, boils and rotting everywhere on the body.
Here are a few ideas that were spinning in my head while I was drawing this set. Of course, you can come up with your own stories, but maybe it will cheer you up a little or push you to some ideas.
Three bloated large figures are:
• Atostus De-li-Fe-Rium the Selfmade Widower
• Baron Partostis de Varicelia
• Plague bishop Aramis сhevalier de Emphysemas
Once they served their ruler faithfully during their lifetime, but now they continue to serve after death. They have changed a lot, the most vicious sides have appeared and this has affected their appearance. Under their command is the dead guard of the spire guard, whose bony hands are still clutching weapons. There are legends that at first you hear a lonely drum in the echoing halls. When his rumble reaches its apogee, the Standard-Bearer comes. He hoists his banner, ghostly waving even in the complete absence of wind. The whole hall is covered with a greenish stinking fog and in the silence broken only by the buzzing of flies, a pale horse appears carrying the captain and his army walks behind him. They are still guarding these halls and woe to those who meet on their way.
You can decide for yourself what they are armed with. For example, muskets or fancy shotguns with poisoned cartridges. Gas Throwers or chemical sprayers or something more bizarre but enclosed in an archaic form.
Here are 27 tokens including Three Leaders, 10 shooting units, one of them is a horseman, a pair of potential named villains - a mutant duelist and a butler with an unholy book and 12 poxwalkers from among the inhabitants of the spire, armed with anything from candelabra to a lobster taken from the master's table.
