Ello everyone! Just a bit of a charge update’
Added 2022-10-08 19:54:27 +0000 UTCSo as far as I’ve been made aware, the billing is going to change a bit on pat for new patrons (for everyone here it shouldn’t make a difference but should help things be easier and have less hiccups!)
The basic change is that the payment is basically becoming a standard subscription model more or less. That is to say IN THEORY it should help avoid the payment declines on the first, but this also means to those who leave and come back, it will change the day you join and that will be your new first unless you rejoin on the first!
I apologize if this came as a shock or is in any way troubling, I’ll see what I can do to make things easier and more accessible!
Love y’all and on the positive side of things it will be possible to sub for up to a year at a discounted price c: so it could make billing even easier for those who don’t like monthly charges! Much love everyone and I hope you all are doing well!!
Other than that, I can’t wait to make the audios tonight nyahaha~

As you yourself wrote Cece. I haven't read the "change notes" if we call them that, but that's my understanding from the others I support, and or follow.

2022-10-09 08:06:52 +0000 UTCJust a warning. There have been a few double charges on the monthly payment as well but as soon as it is discovered. The 2nd charge is refunded. I was a victim of it. Scared the crap outta me at first because I thought my rent had gotten increased. Luckily my partner passed me some cash until the refund got done. I think it was like a week later.

2022-10-09 07:58:40 +0000 UTCI believe that the subscription billing only changes if you in your own settings (as the creator of your patreon) select to switch to the new billing format, if you don't switch then your billing cycle for your whole patreon will still be the old 1st of every month one. Although it seems that there are benefits, with the whole not being double billed and being able to join at anytime of the month! But it also doesn't affect all of us currently here, as we still all will be billed on the 1st of every month (just incase some peeps found it a little hard to understand)
