Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I hope everyone is having a wonderful cute little Holiday! Remember, Valentine's Day is not about just about spouse/partner love. It's about friendship, family and also loving yourself.

Now, this was NOT my original plan for a horror Valentine's Day shoot. The weather for the last week in Texas has been raining and EXTREMELY windy for whatever reason. The original idea was for a "Carrie" Valentine themed shoot. However, that required being outside and utilizing tarps and backdrops (hanging decorations etc) but the wind kept ripping up our stuff and ruining the set. I obviously cannot do a shoot that requires a crap ton of blood inside the house without ruining the floor. (That MIGHT upset my husband just little bit haha!) So, we are saving that shoot for another day when it's not so blustery outside.

My housemate (MoonstoneStudios) suggested a cupid theme but zombify it. So when I started this make up, it ended up looking like half of my face and neck were burned, versus looking like a zombie (My husband said it looks like Harvey Dent and I wasn't mad about that!) She said "Poor Cupid got burned by love!" which I thought was ABSOLUTLEY fantastic! So I hope you enjoy this series and I cannot wait to bring you "Carrie"
