I got an IUD in September and oh man was that the worst pain of my life. The absolute stab when it was inserted and the cramps for about 6 hours afterwards ( during which I had to walk over a mile home ahaha OTL ). I was literally hobbled over in pain. BUT I don't regret it at all and I love my copper IUD now! I hope you make it through the initial pain and have nothing but positive experiences with yours. <3
