As well as an update with our kittens. I'm very happy to report that the kittens are doing well. Their little bodies responded well to the antibiotics treatment and they have increased their weight! That was one of the big things we were all concerned about as Parvo can attack multiple areas of the body. Their eyes, fur and energy have also improved meaning their eyes brighter, fur softer and full of regular kitten energy. We did have a little bit of a scare with one of them as she got a little inflamed butt (this is from the Parvo causing intense diarrhea) which wasn't ideal but we got additional probiotics to help with gut bacteria as well. It makes me happy (still anxious) as the continue to get better everyday. Downside is Parvo can last up to 5 weeks (outside of the body) on anything they've touched. We have disinfected, as well as bleached a lot of the items that these little guys have touched. Our goal is to get them vaccinated and hopefully the okay to be introduced to our animals.
