Happy First Day Of Halloween!

Sadly, I don't get to spend it with my husband. (We purposefully got married on Halloween) However, I'm gonna try and treat myself to a nice dinner (probably sushi) and some self care. I can't wait till he's home and we can celebrate it, despite it being almost 2 months after.

Congrats on the anniversary! October is my favourite month because of Halloween. I love watching as many Horror Movies as I can in October (I watch them all year round anyways but they feel extra special in October) and we run a Halloween Haunted House fundraiser for the local Scout Group which is so much fun. Being from Australia, we didn't really do Halloween when I was a kid, so it's great that it's finally caught on in the last 5-10 years. Although I don't get to go trick or treating, it's tonnes of fun to get dressed up and make a bunch of Props and design the rooms to scare people in the haunted house.
