Hey! As I mentioned before, I'm back working on Black Door, the short game I started as a challenge and am now using to improve my 3D skills. Progress has been slower than I expected, but I guess that was inevitable since I'm navigating a completely new environment.
For the next update, I've written about 70% of the script. I’ve decided to take a break from writing to focus on creating the CGs, since writing was taking longer than expected and I didn’t want to forget the new techniques I’ve been learning. I’m still adjusting to the new rendering style—sometimes it feels a bit too much like real-time game graphics for my taste, but other times I’m really happy with the results.
Last week, I spent a lot of time trying to perfect a particularly tricky animation. I’m still not completely satisfied with it, but I need to move on. I posted it in the VIP channel on Discord if you're curious! Now, it's time to dive back into those CGs.
