Okay so, I've personally never seen this happen to a pair of shoes before BUT! We'd been planning a shoot like this for about 2 months (waiting for clothing items and back drops etc) when the shoes I was gonna use for this shoot (I had them for about 5 years prior to this) HAD MOLD GROWING ON THEM! Now keep in mind they had been apart of a few shoots I've done for Patreon so I was super confused as to why this happened! Turns out that humidity can affect things more then I thought it could! Had to throw out the WHOLE CONTAINER OF COSPLAY STUFF! I was so mad...I rushed ordered myself a similar pair because I was adamant in my vision and well here we are haha. So just a tid bit, do not store things outside in a container in an outdoor storage closet. Despite being put away humidity affects everything.
