I appreciate your enthusiasm and maybe at some point I will come up with a figure. But this hasn't really been about the money, rather I just wanted to write and have my time compensated since just a single chapter can take more than a full workday to complete (factoring in everything from conception and writing to editing). For now I think I can do with just taking a step back and write when I feel the drive for it, then see who is interested once it is posted. After that, we will see. But again, thank you for your kind words, it is nice to hear my writing is appreciated.

Hello J-cal. I joined as I found you stories for Spires of Torment to be exciting and erotic. I REALLY want to see more of the continuing story of Brayton. Please come up with a idea of what amount of money we need to "pump" into your Patreon so that collectively we can get a few more stories with the art work by Lucien added. If you can come up with a cash amount for the next story, we can collectively pitch in to fund it. I really want to see this story continue. I know you are tapped out energy wise, and have the baby to deal with, but money has to flow, and this would help channel some to you for for a specific work to be completed. I've just been a $5 a month member, but I will put out cash to help complete the next story (which the writing has been excellent) and with Lucians artwork. Let us know. Together, the fans can help you get going again. Maybe give us a estimate of cost for a story, and story with art work. I hope this helps. Patrick

Thanks for the update, J-Cal. While unfortunate news it is understandable given the situation and I don't think any reasonable person would hold it against you for making these changes. Taking care of your baby and making sure you get plenty of rest is definitely more important. The artwork was always a nice bonus when accompanying your stories but I can understand why that isn't feasible for every story, especially when you're not making a profit, along with your other stated reasons. Saving the artwork for certain stories is more ideal in the long run. In any case I look forward to your next update and wish you the best.
