So I've been sick for a while. And am in a transitory period after having brought a newborn into the household. Suffice it to say, if time and energy were at the breaking point before, I am well past that now. Saying these things feel like I am making excuses, and I sort of am, but there's nothing to be done about the situation for right now.

So, unfortunately, that means no story this month. I am beset by issues, one of which being that the artwork for the next part of Umbra's Edge remains unfinished, and that I haven't been able to write a word of anything all month.

So as before when I fail in the writing department, I shall instead share art with all tiers. The story tier can through this link find the first panel of a short story that was meant to be called "The Collector", which was supposed to have four comic-style panels by Gary Roberts spanning two chapters of story. Alas, as with the story, the artwork was also never completed. Members of the art tiers will get a link to the gallery where the completed first and second panels can be found, as well as a WIP of the third panel. The fourth panel was unfortunately never even started.

I hope this consolation-art will help somewhat. I fully intend to get back on the horse for November. What story will be out depends on whether or not the aforementioned Umbra's Edge artwork will be done on time. If it is not, a new original short (with art) will be done instead.
