"An Excess of Mistresses" comment/feedback post
Added 2025-09-29 16:55:19 +0000 UTCSo, as I mentioned, this month I had to do a complete 180 and come up with a different story than the one I had planned on posting, because the accompanying artwork hasn't been completed on time.
I decided to make a (very) short original story to upload instead, for which occasion I had an unused piece of art to go with it. I am trying something different with the narrative here, and I am not sure I like it, so you guys be sure to tell me what you think of it.
And for everyone who gets what the story is referencing; I applaud you.

Quite a fun short story with great accompanying artwork from Gary Roberts! The narrative style is certainly different from your usual works, I can't say that its a negative, simply just different. It sort felt like a in medias res, given personally I lack background context on the setting this takes place in and goals of the Dungeon Keepers and Dark Mistresses. Still the story itself featured your notable writing trademarks in femdom scenarios and themes which is always enjoyable. As a short story the setup and premise is established quickly and the erotic section is fitting for the Dark Mistresses. Your descriptions of them were equally fantastic. Normally most fantasy themes don't interest me, there's always exceptions of course depending on the story or artwork. Some of Dominion's Chain or the Power of Submission being examples that you've done that I've found interesting or entertaining in one way or another.
