2020-12-18 05:00:36 +0000 UTCThere's a lot of older ones that I love (Lost Boys, Nosferatu), but my favourite may be a toss up between a pair of South Korean vampire film. One would be Thirst, a dark, serious film about a religious man who becomes a vampire after offering himself as a test subject for an experimental treatment for a virus. It was done by Chan-Wook Park who famously did Oldboy. The other, is Vampire Cop Ricky. It's about a corrupt police officer who's bitten by a mosquito that previously bit a vampire and boarded a DHL plane in a crate. He decides to use his new found powers to turn his life around and fight corruption. Also, he only gets his powers when he's sexually aroused. It's a ludicrous but awesome movie.

Dracula (1931), From Dusk till Dawn, Nosferatu (the original silent film one), Stakeland, Bram Stokers Dracula, Interview with a Vampire..... ok I’ll stop there 🤣
