Barely made the February publishing by the skin of my teeth, and here it is, the pilot-chapter for the new sci-fi setting "Umbra's Edge"! I will be very interested in seeing what you guys think of this so far.

Thank you, your feedback is always welcomed and appreciated. It was important to weave in a bit of world-building in this to help set it aside from other sci-fi works I have written over the years, and though we've barely scratched the surface, there is a lot in this one chapter that lays the foundation for other things to follow. Glad you enjoyed the setting so far, and rest assured more is on the way.

I certainly enjoyed the premise as you provided a small glimpse into this setting, from the fictional corporations, PMC's to of course the androids, those background details were well written and help make the setting feel believable. I particularly liked the way you handled Kryno's method of staying off the radar / off the grid as he enjoyed his "retirement" and how his demise was caused by several factors, from forgetting to turn off the array due to being excited with his androids and him being in a situation where he couldn't resolve it. The erotic scenes were great as it started off sensual, reflecting the androids programming to worship / pleasure Kryno to becoming more intense at the end from their last playful instructions and the system reboot. The detailing into of Zeta and Sigma's appearances, functions and performance was equally fantastic with their seemingly human like behavior due to their faux-ai programming to becoming factory default sex bots, performing in a machine like method from a system reboot was represented well and a fun yet interesting predicament to end this particular story on. Overall I think this was a great chapter with an incredible piece of accompanying artwork! I'm definitely interested in seeing more of the setting and perhaps follows ups to see what Franziska has planned for Kryno.
