About Blender:

Hello everyone, I've wanted to study Blender for a very long time, and it seems like the time has finally come. I don't know if I'll end up dropping it or dive deep into learning it and eventually start creating content in it, in addition to what I already make in Virt-a-Mate.

I wanted to start learning Blender for several reasons:

1) It’s interesting to me as someone who has long been observing from the sidelines;

2) I believe that even a beginner in Blender can create higher-quality renders (even with free pre-made models) than I could ever make in Virt. I’m not saying my work is bad — not at all. Most of the sets I’ve released I personally like and enjoy looking at, but Blender simply has objectively more possibilities;

3) About 70% of the works I absolutely love were made there, so it's pretty inspiring.

My personal favorite creator - threezxc.

About my content:

I’ve been working on what you see on this page for more than half a year now — hundreds of hours went into creating these 50+ sets. And if you compare the very first and the latest releases, you can see a colossal difference. The first set can hardly even be called a “set,” since it was just the day I opened the program for the first time to mess around — and I was pleasantly surprised by its features. (I can’t say I had downloaded any similar programs before, but that’s beside the point.)

Starting from set #29, you can notice a huge leap in image quality, since I discovered a plugin that upscales in‑game screenshots to any chosen resolution. I was so happy when I found it, and I’m still using it to this day — though it does come with its downsides.

This plugin doesn’t work well with other plugins, and some effects simply get nullified. For example:

1) Bloom effects are almost nonexistent. If they do appear on a screenshot, you’re only seeing a heavily suppressed version compared to the normal effect; on the environment they don’t work at all (like piercings on characters, glowing interior objects, etc.), and even if they do, it’s barely noticeable.

2) Depth of field is basically impossible to use with it, since it breaks the image. Countless pixels and visual glitches appear, and the depth effect itself doesn’t work. I tried adding it carefully in a photo editor a couple of times, but it looked way worse than it could have if the plugin were compatible.

3) Water surfaces or certain liquids simply disappear in screenshots, as if they never existed.

Simply put, the images became much higher quality but lost some of their colorfulness.

Bonus

A bit of history:
In early March of this year, I received my very first donation — just one dollar — and it was a surprisingly pleasant moment. By the end of April, that amount had grown to $8, and I felt like I wanted to start doing something special for those who supported me in any way. That’s how the paid sets came to be.

And now, after almost seven months, I’ve received $63.35 in support — thank you all so much for that <3. I’m really glad that some of you enjoyed what I’ve been creating this whole time.

As a small bonus, I decided that for every $50 I earn through your support, I’ll release one paid set for free (starting with the very first one, of course).

The first such set will become free when the next one comes out, which I’m planning to release in the next few days.

And if, somehow, someone actually read this all the way to the end — I love you, and thank you for your attention.

P.S If you notice any grammar mistakes, please don’t kick me for it — English isn’t my first language. And if you’re curious about anything, don’t hesitate to ask here or on Twitter.
