It's my BIRTHDAY!

I've been waiting to share these in celebration of my 33rd solar return. Honestly, these are probably some of my favorite self portraits that I've ever taken. If you saw my BTS from my North Carolina sessions, you get to see where I lived in the National Forest under a tarp for 3 months man moons ago.

These self portraits were taken there! It's amazing to witness the feelings that were arising while taking these.

10 years ago my mind set was solely concerned with survival. "Will I make it out of here?" "How will I eat today" "Will it ever get dry enough to start a fire?" "Is this person I'm with going to k*ll me..."

It was the craziest, worst best times of my life and I wouldn't take it back for a moment.

But here, in THESE images (and the video I'll post here in a moment) The mindset is a 180 difference! (Obvs)

I'm safe

I'm thriving

I'm loved

I'm happy

I'm successful in my own way
