Begun working on next project
Added 2021-04-09 19:55:02 +0000 UTCIt occurred to me that, since I have my second COVID-19 vaccine shot next week, I might be unable to draw at all during that week, due to the likely side effects for a few days, post-vaccine.
So, I've started working on it today, beginning with a concept outline in photoshop first.
For this animation, I'm taking the extra step to make sure the initial proportions and design are determined before I start working in Flash. Typically, I'd have just started working immediately in Flash, but because this is now a piece for Patrons, I wanted to make sure this looks as nice as I can make it within a reasonable amount of time.
As you can see in this exported image, that is the panel I used for reference.
The inclusion of her left hand holding up her bangs and the inclusion of the entire body might be a little ambitious, but hopefully the arm doesn't become too tricky to animate. The lower body itself shouldn't need to move, but it will need to obviously connect with the torso, which will move slightly.
This also sort of means that this animation might take a little longer than it would normally take to bring to acceptable completion. So, please be patient with me!
Alternatively, if you would prefer me to instead just turn this example frame into a finished illustration, I can do that as well. It would certainly be something I could deliver to Patrons much sooner.
However, since you wanted an animation, that of course is what I will do unless you say otherwise!
