July 2021 News and Announcements!

So, July starts today and I've decided I should probably start giving monthly updates of what you guys can expect as well as what's going on with me, the latter more to act as reasons for the former.
First, some of you may know this, but I have some life changes going on this month. Mid-July I should be starting an actual steady job, and while I won't bore you guys with details, this has been something I've been trying for for a while now (since last July in fact), and while I predict times where pieces and projects get a tad delayed, I will be trying my best to keep the usual Mon/Wed/Fri schedule going without interruptions.
The second big life change is I am moving at the end of the month. This possibly means a disruption of things at the very tail-end of July as I get situated into my new living arrangements, but, I foresee things going smoothly and hopefully I can stick to the optimism shown in the previous paragraph.
Now, for announcements and changes you guys can expect aside from those. Honestly, I don't have much else planned in the way of changes, yet. The Half-Full Friday Requests entry board is starting to get a bit bloated but I think our current system works for the time being, at least until it gets fully out of control, in which, we might need to change the system entirely. I'll keep you guys posted on that and maybe put out a poll of what you guys think a good replacement would be. I must say I'm a bit hesitant to leave it to voting brackets as I usually see the same characters get chosen over and over that way. We'll see.
Otherwise, one last possible change is the opening of the Discord to the public. I floated this idea in the Discord and the consensus so far seems to be that people would be fine with letting anyone in the community in to make things more lively, so long as there is a Patreon-specific channel. Of course, the Timed Exclusives, Half Full Friday, and Full Glass Monthly channels will not be available to the public, as well as any other Patreon-related stuff. You guys will get to keep your perks, its just to try and make a more active community for us all.
Either way, as it's the first, Happy Canada Day to my friends up north and in three days Happy Independence Day for my fellows in the USA! For everyone: go get some sun and enjoy the Summer while you can! This year is speeding on by!

Yeah I can understand that. People would probably get frustrated by that if it did reset each week. Also, with the entry limit for Friday raffles, would it be that each person only gets 2 suggestions for the entire month? Say, for example, someone puts in their 2 suggestions and one of them gets picked, are they allowed to immediately suggest something else so they always have 2 suggestions in play, or will they be down to 1 suggestion for the rest of the month? Something to think about.

The only worry I have about resetting the board each week is that it's already asking people to remember to put in entries, weekly, and people already forget. People thinking they have entries in and then finding out they were misremembering could cause some feels-badsies, I think. Now...resetting the board each MONTH, maybe... :woke:

I think 2 is a fair number but I also like the idea of higher tiers having an increased number of suggestions like what Dim Pixel said and no I'm not saying that because I'm a chalice lol. Anyways perhaps you can reset the board each week as well.
