Apologies for the late-month update again – this is partly due to needing some downtime after a family trip, but also because I’ve been setting up and getting used to some new gear. To level up my output quality, I upgraded to a Mac Studio with ample memory and a new display, moving all my graphic design and text generation workflows over to it. Honestly, familiarizing myself with macOS, configuring AI tools, and calibrating the new display’s color profile took way more time than expected.
To safeguard my work, I invested in new storage drives, external hard disks, and a backup power supply to prevent data loss from sudden outages. Everything – software, finished projects, source files – gets regularly archived now. Short of an earthquake or fire, my data’s pretty much bulletproof at this point (laughs).
