Cool! PS: Wow, I can’t believe how much time has passed since that Tenten storyboard. Good times! (All the credit goes to AvatarJuan.) Now that I think about it, Masaru Uma is such a great character. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to adapt him into the current comic. (Not sure if that’d mess with the canon, but I don’t think so.) I imagine he’d be older now since so many years have gone by. #1) It’s a solid option, considering Masaru travels a lot because of his... pervy activities, taking any job as long as there are pretty girls around. Maybe Hinata remembers him fondly and gets him a job as a bartender—or maybe she can’t stand him. So many possibilities! #2) It wouldn’t be surprising if Sakura gets jealous of Hinata... (women can be like that lol). Honestly, I think Hinata might even surpass Sakura professionally—who knows, it’s a tricky question. (A sexy competition would be awesome!) #3) I haven’t forgotten your diplomatic story—I re-read it, and the scripts are fantastic! (On page 10, Hinata mentions she went out to take care of some responsibilities as the Hokage’s wife. Maybe it’s true, and she wasn’t as much of a flirt as Timothy thought... or maybe she was meeting up with Samui to settle something.) I think this universe has so much potential! The problem is that sometimes the publishing slows down, and it affects the continuity. Hopefully, we can keep creating more scenarios like this to add depth to the saga. Hanabi will show up again in this comic, and I love the idea of her mischief in the Cloud Village using her alter ego (this was explained in the first chapter of this saga). Cool, thanks for the great input! It’s super helpful to read and take notes—it really helps add more depth to the story. I was browsing some of your old cover from a few years back and one that caught my attention was the Tenten beauty pageant Storyboard cover and Tenten’s Night Out Pt.1 & 2 by AvatarJuan. I really like the panel work in the short stories. It would be cool to see a modern version of that type of panel work now since you’ve improved your work. The main thing that caught my attention was the rivalry between Tenten and Samui over a certain character in those stories: the old man Masaru Uma. I’ve advocated before about this mysterious bartender that teaches Hinata about sex in the last story; what if that old man is Masaru? In part 1 of Night Out Tenten says he lasts hours before he finally cums. In part 2 Samui explains he was a former teacher for the Hyuga clan and personal trainer to Hinata till they became lovers. This comic can adopt several story elements from those stories: #1) incorporate Masaru Uma. His story could be that he was caught and discarded as a teacher that he found himself in the sand village where he found a job working as a bartender. To make it more interesting we can have him work for Hinata Greek husband and runs one of his business which is the bar. If anyone can last long with Hinata it would be this enigmatic old man. #2) include the rivalry that Tenten and Samui have except this time is between Hinata and Sakura. As Hinata gets more involved in this world, the story could eventually lead to a point where Sakura jealous of Hinata and it affects her work. Ive advocated for more threesomes and foursomes, what if they have a similar competition to the one in the Beauty Pageant story. #3) include Samui in the story and it opens the doors to a journey to the cloud village. I’ve long advocated for the Raikage to make an appearance, including Samui could lead the story to the cloud village. It can also fits the current story: she has a pervious relationship with Masaru, she has a rivalry with Tenten, her village has a past of interfering with the byakugan (and she could be an agent sent by the Raikage to track Hinata down because he’s looking for assailant that has attacking the men his village. This was in reference to the diplomatic story I shared a few pages ago). To incorporate her would be: she’s tracking Hinata because she heard has not been in Konoha fro some time. She runs into Masaru (they can rekindle their relationship) she hears about her from him and that leads to her tracking her down. Along the way she could have encounters with Timothy as she’s on a secret mission so she could be a potential suspect in attacking him. When she finally meets Hinata she learns about Tenten and her story from her and from Masaru which can lean to another clash between them. She also tells Hinata of this byakugan assailant (i recommend Hanabi for this role) and it leads to Naruto calling for her help for a diplomatic mission to the cloud village. Please let me know what you think. Sorry for the long post.
