As you know from my last post, last weekend I was visitung my friends in the north of Poland - Kashubia region. The area of today's Kashubia was once inhabited by peoples from Scandinavia - Goths and Gepids who arrived in the second half of the 1st century AD. They left behind burial places, barrows and stone circles. Most likely, they were meeting places for tribal elders, where magical treatments were performed. The Gothic cemetery in Węsiory consists of twenty burial mounds, four stone circles and over 140 graves. The dead were buried there from about 70-80 AD. until the turn of the 2nd and 3rd centuries.
I am posting those photos today because in the evening I am going to the small cottage in the middle of nowhere in the mountains and I'll be back Sunday. There's raining almost everyday but I am planning to organise some photoshoots whenever I can. :)
Love, Erinthul.
