The Abandoned Settlement

I don't know much about this village. I found it randomly while I was hiking in deep snow. Those little cottages were really far away from eachother and it looked like they were abandoned a long time ago. Because of that the whole place looked very beautiful but it also had this creepy, uneasy vibe out of a horror movie.

From reading a history of a nearby village located in the valley I assumed the cottages were once used by the shepherds herding their sheeps during the summer. Now the sheep industry is not that popular as it was before and it mainly became a tourist attraction, that's why the houses were abandoned by their builders. I still liked this place... maybe even more when I noticed it was empty. I only saw some (looked like) wolf paws on the snow and a small ammount of fur and blood that was left near the cottage.

Also this is the first time I took photos in my knitted shawl. I am very proud of how it turned out and I can't wait for the future projects.

I'd also like to apologise to you for not making this post earlier. I came back home from the hospital yesterday because I had to have stitches on my head. I tripped on the ice early in the morning and I cut my head pretty badly. Everything is fine now :)

Love, Erinthul.
