This is a part two of my trip to the winter forest. It started right on the top of the highest mountain in this area... but let's start from the beginning.
After taking the photos for the first part I wanted to get back home because it took me a while to get there and the sun was already setting. I was on my way when I noticed a road... an interesting one I must say. I wanted to check it out a bit for my next photoshoot but I wasn't planning on going far in this direction. Only enough to see where it's heading. On the end of this road there was a huge sand mountain. I couldn't see what's behind it so I decided to run up the hill and take a look. When I get to the top I saw a breathtaking view...
Under this hill were two small lakes. This place looked like some kind of small valley because it was surrounded by smaller hills. The most interesting thing was located on the other side of that crater. It was a tree... the most intriguing tree I've ever seen. I had to get there but before that there was a steep path to the bottom of the hill I was standing on. It was covered in snow and ice so I had to be very careful.
On my way there I saw a big animal track under my feet. I am not really sure what that was but it had to be huuuge. It was probably a moose or deer but I got scared a bit because I was alone in the middle of unknown forest. When I got to the tree I realised that it was way bigger than I expected. It was standing on the roots and it looked like it was able to walk. I probably met a real life Ent ;).
I took some photos there but I am not quiet satisfied with them. I mean I really liked the poses but the light was really bright and I prefer more cloudy wheather. I hate to shoot in direct light and I am sure I will come back there when I'll get a chance.
The walk back home was really long. I had to be careful because this forest is full of military areas and bases. There's also a military compound. On the first yellow sign are words "droga czołgowa" which means a road for tanks and on the second one is written "Teren niszczenia niewybuchów. Wstęp wzbroniony" which means - Munitions destruction site. Do not cross... so yeah :D.
Hope you all had a good read and see you soon.
Love, Erinthul.
