Winter is back
Added 2022-01-11 19:18:22 +0000 UTCThis is the first part of my day at forest. I decided to make a two parts out of it because I want to tell you two different stories and I really think that the vibe of this place has changed as I climbed onto the highest mountain... but let's not spoiler that ;)
The winter came back into my city for a really short period of time... but it made me realise something about my creativeness. I was always wondering why am I more creative in the winter time and why it's easier for me to create photos in this season even if it get's extremely cold. I came up with the one idea only... till this day. It occured to me that in the winter time there's usually a lot less people in nature and I can express myself without having to think about if someone's gonna see me. That's why I got used to the coldness and I can spend more and more time naked now. It really helps me to experiment and recreate most of my visions. For a really long time I thought that's the main (and maybe only) reason why I post so many photos in winter but after editing those photos to post it today I experienced an epiphany...
Please look at the photos in the middle, the ones I took at a city park next to my house. What do you see... and most importantly - what color palette can you see? The tones are cold, and only white, gray and black are dominant but there's a little accent. Do you see it? The accent color is orange - just like my hair! The orange is hiding in the leaves that are a residue from autumn, in the berries and in the old grass. My skin is pale with colder undertones so it fit's perfectly with the snow and cloudy sky.
I think that's the main reason I feel the most beautiful in the winter. I feel like I match with the nature and can hide from the rest of the world. In the winter I really think that I am a part of this world and I am most welcome into the woods.
I am really courious what season are you feeling most comfortable in? Is it winter as well or something else?
