Those beginnings

I remember that days clearly. It was the beginning of the spring. In the deeper parts of the forest the snow was still covering the ground. I was really new to the photography and I didn't know much about my camera so all of the photos above were taken on the auto settings. I was really passionate about my art because it was so new... so fresh. I still love what I am doing but now it's a much bigger part of me and I don't really think of it... I am just doing it. The emotions surrounding my creativeness have changed during this year a lot.

I wanted to experiment a bit with what I have... and at that time it meant a dog :D I still love those portraits I took with her. She always liked taking photos with me because it meant treats. I used a phone and a bluetooth remote back then so the process of taking a photo was really quick. Now when I have a camera it takes much longer. I have to set the timer for 10 seconds to get ready for the photo. Because of that we don't take as many photos together as we used to. I noticed that she gets really impatients and even the best treats are not doing their job anymore because she's just full of them after a while and is no longer hungry :)

Now I love to take her for a long walks as I am looking for a cool places for photos but for the photoshoots itself I am going alone. It's also because she loves to explore and in the woods there's a lot of cool scents. I will take photos with her at home tho, because she's really relaxed there and it won't be a discomfort for her.

Also her name is Navy <3

I hope you don't mind this short story about my doggo?

Love, Erinthul

No, I press the button on my phone, then I'll lay it on the ground, do a pose and done. It's easier than you think :)

I have an app on my phone that's connected to my camera and I can change settings and focus from a distance there. After that I can press a button on my phone and it takes 10 seconds for the camera to take the photo. The app I am using is called Camera Connect and it works perfectly with my Canon 6D (which has a Wi-fi and that's necessary). Hope I could help :)
