Where it all started

Let me tell you a story. One year ago I was visiting my home town. At that time I was taking photos with my phone. It was just my hobby and a short distraction (that's what I thought). I knew that my phone camera wasn't the best but buying a real one seemed so unnecssary and expensive.

It all changed in just one foggy morning. Just like the one you can see in those pictures. I wanted to capture this... nothingness? I took some photos and I was so enchanted by them. I loved everything! It was the first time that the quality of my photos started bothering me. That morning inspired me to save some money and buy a real camera so I could print my photos and hang them on the wall.

Some time has passed... I bought my first camera and I was taking photos but in the back of my head I had this thought that wasn't leaving me alone. I wanted to recreate the photos I took on that special morning. The only thing that was stopping me was the weather. I've seen some fogs but not that dense.

It all changed a few days ago. I was visiting my grandma. I woke up early and went to the same place as a year ago and... I was struck by all of different emotions. I felt so happy and a single tear rolled down my face. I finally felt that there's a sense in what I am doing.

The weather was not exactly the same but the vibe was. Last two photos are the one that I tried to recreate. I didn't t do it perfectly but I am quiet happy. I will be trying more for sure.
