New Equipment!
Added 2019-02-28 08:02:13 +0000 UTCso we picked up some new toys over the last little bit; while our notes worked well enough there were definitely some limits to them as well as the 30 dollar work lights we got from Walmart.
we picked up a Lumix G7; capable of 4k video. In addition to doing some better resolution videos, it will certainly be much better at doing green screen capture so we may experiment more with that.
Speaking of green screens, those lights were another part of the issue, so we replaced them with dual LED panels; which even though they seemed like they didn't light as well overall, certainly seemed to work well enough in the videos... and didn't make whatever room we're working in a oven!
And then there's the splurge item; A Vuze XR. I don't know what it is, but Griev is having fun with it... It's a 360 camera, but also does stereoscopic VR, which is view-able through most forms of VR headsets. If you have one, we plan on making some interesting content with that as well.
