Artist need food and pay bills something didn't do it for free unless he/she give away (a lot people have these problem too)

I always ask them "What for free? No thanks I got things I gotta do." And they always call me a dick I never understood that. Like I'm not the mother ***** asking someone with a skillset to do it for free.
