Patron tier patch notes 2024

Hey folks,

So as per the last post I’ve spoken with a fair amount of you and have decided I am going to be going ahead with updating the tiers.

For legacy patrons, again genuinely I am so grateful for all your support all this time and I am also so happy that many of you were more than happy to chuck a few more pennies my way after having had such a discounted price for so long.

So for S, SS and SSS tier tiers the following changes will be taking effect.

S tier
------

A common comment was that S tiers are mostly here for the animations so to better accommodate this I’ll be effectively making this tier a reflection of B tier.

. Access to the latest 3 animations and all pin ups (not including any non bgm, short vids etc)

. Price increased from $1 -> $3/month

*Should you wish to retain access to all content then S tier members will be offered the option to transfer over to SSS tier at $5/month.

SS tier

I'm very thankful that a lot of you were more than willing to go with either of the proposed ideas so SS tier will effectively be rolled into SSS tier and members will be able to choose one of two options to swap over to.

. No longer offered

. SS tier patrons will be offered one of two options:
                1. Swap to S tier ($3/month for 3 of the current videos + pin ups etc)
                2. Swap to SSS tier ($5/month for full access)

* I would also like to reiterate, that since the point of the legacy tiers was basically you need to stay at that tier to keep the price, I am offering that all legacy patrons can swap between the S tiers for whatever reason, you’ll just need to message me to do so.

This brings us onto B and A tier patrons, whereupon the following will be brought into effect.

I’m honestly so overjoyed that so many of you are so generous and understanding, truly thank you. I can't understate how much of a difference $2 from you guys will be amazingly helpful.

. Price increased from $8 -> $10/month.

B tier
------

Likewise I appreciate the honesty and you guys are mostly here for the animations where some of you did voice concerns that it felt like paying a fair bit more if you looked at it as a “per video cost”, but I’m very thankful you were all very understanding of this decision.

. Price increased from $3 -> $5/month.

[1 Month Notice]

Now as far as I’ve read and am aware of how price adjustments work for Patreon, once I’ve implemented the price change, you’ll all be sent an email notifying you of the price increase and you’ll then have 1 more month on the current price before swapping over.

Now since SS tier isn’t increasing but instead will be splitting to either S or SSS, this one will sadly need to be one of those awkward ones where I’ll need you guys to contact me so we can arrange which of the two you can swap to.

Per Month model -> Subscription based model

Now I’ll try update you all as much as I can during the transition process as I’ll also be swapping payment models. This is something I wanted to put off as much as possible, but Patreon will be forcing me over automatically next year anyway so figure better to rip the band aid off now.

Now hopefully the nice little extra features they offer for this model will help too (like gifting, coupons n such) but basically your payment date will be swapping from guaranteed first of the month to per whenever you first joined up. Granted I am really hoping most of these will be early in the month cause I don’t know about you guys, but I much prefer to get paid and pay off all my bills at the start of the month.

Truthfully I understand a few of you will probably be unsubbing and I’ll be sorry to see you go.
Believe me when I say this has been heavy on my mind for a while this year and that for those of you that stay, you have no idea how thankful from the bottom of my heart, I am for you to continue supporting me.

While it’s mostly been napkin math and calculated based on absolutely everyone staying (not to mention ignoring the patreon and paypals cut) this increase should be a monumental in helping me financially and helping improve the quality of content I can deliver to you all.
