I need a new PC

Don't worry, my PC hasn't broken, but my hardware is already outdated and I need to upgrade it.
I currently have a GTX 1060 GPU, a graphics card that came out almost 10 years ago. It's a low-end GPU and, nowadays, it doesn't have the power needed to render my work quickly.

My switch to Blender brought new challenges. It was a steep learning curve, but without a doubt, the biggest challenge is my GPU.
I had to lower the resolution of the pages to 4K (they used to be 8K) to be able to render one page per day for my comic. At 8K quality, it would take ages. I also had to crop the images (though that doesn't affect anything significantly), but even so, a single render takes over an hour.

"AI doesn't need a GPU"

An understandable comment if you're not familiar with the topic, but AI also requires a powerful GPU when you want to run it locally.
Some websites allow you to create images, but at low resolution. 4K images require a powerful GPU; the more details, the more graphical processing is needed.
Currently, AI is still a useful tool for artists, as it handles some tasks, but it doesn't do all the work with precision.

So, the only thing I can think of is to open monthly commissions to start saving money and upgrade my hardware.

No te preocupes, mi PC no se ha roto, pero mi hardware ya es antiguo y necesito actualizarlo.
Actualmente poseo una GPU GTX 1060, una tarjeta gráfica que salió hace casi 10 años. Es una GPU de gama baja y, hoy en día, no tiene la potencia necesaria para renderizar mi trabajo con rapidez.

Mi cambio a Blender trajo nuevos retos. Fue una curva de aprendizaje pronunciada, pero sin duda el mayor desafío lo tiene mi GPU.
Tuve que bajar la resolución de las páginas a 4K (antes eran 8K) para poder renderizar una página diaria de mi cómic. En calidad 8K, tardaría siglos. También tuve que recortar las imágenes (aunque eso no afecta absolutamente nada), pero aun así, un solo render toma más de una hora.

"La IA no necesita GPU"

Un comentario comprensible si no conoces el tema, pero la IA también requiere una GPU potente cuando quieres ejecutarla de forma local.
Algunas páginas te permiten crear imágenes, pero en baja resolución. Imágenes en 4K requieren una GPU potente; mientras más detalles, más procesamiento gráfico se necesita.
Actualmente, la IA sigue siendo una herramienta útil para los artistas, ya que resuelve algunas tareas, pero no realiza todo el trabajo con precisión.

Así que, lo único que se me ocurre es abrir comisiones mensuales para comenzar a reunir dinero y actualizar mi hardware.
