the world is on fire

These images were taken after a very dangerous forest forest fire near my brothers house that nearly decimated the community of Silverthorne, Colorado. These images / this series represents our relationship with mother earth and serves, in my mind, as a metaphor for our current socio-political and environmental global state of affairs.
