Team JNBY 1 EXTRA - WIP 1 (+ another update)
Added 2022-04-01 01:38:56 +0000 UTCHere's a little inside on how I start my drawings. I've just finished posing the 3D models for the extra scene of the first comic strip. Unfortunately, my 10-year-old netbook is too shitty to let me do things straight. You see, if I select any other layer that is not the 3D one, the models become a jumbled mess. That leaves me with no other option but to take a screenshot and scale it from 1024 x 600 and 72 dpi to 4093 x 2900 and 350 dpi. So, as you can see, I have to use a very pixelated screenshot. Is not impossible to work with, but I wish I could have a more clear picture to do so. Not only that, but I have to make sure to get everything right during the posing step, otherwise making changes later on would be difficult.
Anyway, now that I have the pose I can start working on the sketch of the extra scene. I also started working on the poses for the second strip where I'll explain some of the changes that I made in this AU, as well as introduce Glynda to the cast.

This is really interesting. 3D posing wasn't what I considered you used but makes sense. And working within your means shows the effort you put in. Looking forward to the next scene and keep up the effort!
