I wanted to jump on here and kinda get some stuff off my chest. The short version is that I'm considering closing down this Patreon at the end of the year. I haven't decided yet. The income I get from here has never been huge, but enough that it helped out with bills. However, subs have been steadily declining, and I've been seeing a rise in "free" subscribers (what even is that?)
If you haven't heard, my wife and I are expecting our first child early next year, and I suspect my output is gonna go down even more, which I imagine will lead to more cancelled subscriptions. I get that your financial situation may have changed or you're not getting the kind of content you want from here. That's totally fine. I'm just feeling like maybe this all isn't worth it.
Like I said, nothing is set in stone and I will continue posting here as usual for the time being. If you have any comments or suggestions on the situation, feel free to leave them in the comments.

You guys are missing the point. It's not about taking a hiatus. It's about Patreon not being worth it because it's not a viable revenue for the amount of work I put into it.
