Sure, a fair number of women would no doubt eat the eggs without realizing what they did. But global communication would probably result in these things getting yanked from shelves within hours. So I could totally see this scenario quickly becoming the case. With women who still want them or who have perhaps become like Esther and have become addicted to becoming excessively fecund, start turning to shady places in an attempt to get their hands on a quickly dwindling supply.
