Today I started this new challenge and I’m enjoying it so much so far💛 I wanted to do it sooner but it’s been a really busy start of the week for me.
This time I decided to go for an A4 sketchbook size as I knew I was going to draw a bunch of tiny faces in one page. I’m not very good at mini drawings and the idea of doing this with an A5 sketchbook terrified me😅
Can’t wait to continue and share the process with all of you!🧚🏻♂️

Hi David! I'm about to respond with what I know, but I really don't know if there are any "strict rules" such as inktober, as you said. From what I've seen, this challenge is free to try it however you want. I've seen artists work on one portrait per day and some others working freely with time. Others like to concentrate on a specific range of time, like doing it in just a month, but I don't like to pressure myself that way hahaha. About the references I think they are absolutely free to choose, I have never seen any prompt or list. I mean, that could be a way of doing it, creating one list of themes and sharing it with followers to work on the challenge together, but as it is 100 different portraits I think that can be pretty difficult. Anyways, you can do it your own way, so I proposed to do as much variety of features and expressions as possible!! I wanted to share the references on Pinterest in case you would like to do this challenge with me💛

(People following someone's given list with a reference for each day of October? Or anyone chooses their own reference pics and draw them when they want until they get 100 heads? Looking forward to seeing your 100 heads!
