Hi guys!
Today I’m sharing with you this quick exercise I was so exited to do again! It’s been a long time since the last time I did it and it’s actually one of my favorites🌟
As you can already see from the photo cover the first try was a mess🤭 But what’s important is what that 5 minute sketch makes on the second and finished drawing!🎉
Although I think it would’ve turned better if I warmed up first this was basically my warm up! When you try to simplifly a figure in this little time you need to focus on only the important. As you will see on the video I got too distracted on the placing stage and so I didn’t have time to complete the rest💀 Lesson learned!
When starting the second sketch I went straight to the important and it also made me work much faster, as I already had the adrenaline and practice of the first one I did seconds ago. This was supposed to be a 5 vs 30 minute practice but it turned out to be 5 vs 20, so you can imagine! I think it’s much better to leave a drawing as it is, if you feel like it’s already finished, that keep touching it to complete the time and end up messing it up✨
This exercise can be done with multiple time choices, even with more than 2 tries! If you find that 5 minutes is too little time for you then give a little more time🌸 You can also work on 5, 10, 15 and 20 minutes for example!
I used to do a 7, 5, 2, 1 minute and 30 seconds practice on body poses when I was at collage. It was so fun🤭
