“The swimmers” - Upcoming project🌿

Hi everyone!

Today I want to share with you this new project I just started a couple of days ago💫

I don’t know if you know this but I have a fixation with vintage photos! Sometimes I go to street markets and look for cool old pictures that inspire me🌸 There’s something so mysterious and beautiful about a portrait of someone you don’t know anything about, that has lived in a place and time completely different than yours. It’s like trying to draw something etheral while, at the same time, trying to keep that person remembered still in another decade✨

The other day I realized I could also search for these kind of pictures on the internet, but I had to make sure they were copyright free. That’s how I came across this one (the one attached) that I really liked! There’s a bunch of people with really cool facial expressions😊 It looks like they were having a fun time!

You already know I love to work on quick sketches and I’ve always wanted to do something like this, a series of quick portraits that have something in common, not just random ones. Although that’s also nice!

I already have these 6 and I can’t wait to keep going till I’ve tried portraying all of them✨
