What I don't belive in is pure “Led Zeppelin” tribute—what with falling feathers and everything (which are NOT present on picture of “Led Zeppelin”'s Icarus) it's pretty clear that Zdemian wanted to actually picture Icarus here… with perhaps additional reference to “Led Zeppelin”'s one too. Subtle. Thanks for the catch, I completely forgot about “Led Zeppelin”'s Icarus!

Alexis-as-a-witch-in-a-dreamscape was already larger than Than… I guess Alexis (or someone else) could dream about breasts larger than actual Zeppelins (although they still will be Flesh Zeppelins, not Lead Zeppelins), but I just couldn't see the point: if you could not see a body and breasts on the picture of the same scale… what difference further growth can make?

2014-12-03 10:56:07 +0000 UTCUm. She clearly tried to fly to the sun, but right now her wings are slowly disintegrating and she's falling. Pretty simple and clear-cut allegory if you'll ask me. I don't think that's something Than would like in her complex… Of course large downfalls always come when someone is “at the height of its power” (the only way from the top is down!) thus we kind of agree here… and I would not be surprised to see that she'll grow her power at the beginning of that chapter…

I mean: Than was loooooong overdue for some “lesson in humility”, but Icarus dies in his story! If we'll lose her completely at the end of that chapter it'll be a pity. She's pretty decent villain (and let's not forget that Annabel works for her). P.S. But your allegory prompted me to look on the sizes of actual Zeppelins ( <a href="http://goo.gl/VHIH40" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://goo.gl/VHIH40</a> )—could Than (or anyone else) grow close to THESE sizes? 800ft length, 40ft diameter, 800 000 000lbs weight. Ugh. That's something Djoser aka Hattushilish could dream up ( <a href="http://goo.gl/w5MKTS" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://goo.gl/w5MKTS</a> ), not something we could see in Zdemian's kinda-sorta-if-you-squint-just-right realistic stories. I just don't think they make anti-gravity devices powerful enough to lift and move around breasts which weight as much as Empire State Buildings!

I, personally, would think the old picture which started it all is more appropriate cover ( <a href="http://bit.ly/1FL2d4n" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://bit.ly/1FL2d4n</a> ), but AFAICS Zdemian does not have any dedicated covers for part 1.
