And worst of all is that it's just a single panel thus we'll never know what actually happened before or after. Aww.

This could easily be explained by natural progression of pregnancy. Her hair is slightly longer, but much messier, but then it could be result of “non-Stevie” persuasion and hair gel. And lips could be just copious application of lipstick. Biggest problem is actually her face: Kay's face looks significantly less puffy, but then, if that's few months down the road… I don't think that's Kay: too many changes. Each one could be explained but to have them all to happen simultaneously… unlikely. Plus I'm just not sure that “non-Stevie” could tame her that much.
