In this post, I'll talk about how I'm changing the layouts of my E-book comics.
To this point, I've been creating E-books that are primarily square in dimension. For example, here is the cover of Eve & Satan.

This approach has a few advantages. Creating 1x1 images is faster, and also I've found these images do better on social media for me than horizontal (16x9) or vertical (9x16) aspect images
What I've done in the past is make a bunch of images for social media, then repackaged them into e-books. (I should note that I'm now saving my best NSFW images for Patreons.)
The disadvantage of a square E-book is that it's harder to create multi-panel stories, and perhaps more importantly, 1x1 books are less natural for people to read. You can create a story panel, but you typically have to have one very long or tall image.
For example, here's the diving sequence from Aleynthi's, Part one.

The bottom image one that I love, but also one that's is necessary for this panel to tell a story.
In the past few days, I've been investigating moving toward a more traditional layout for my E-book comics. In Manga, I've ready that the format is:
5" X 7.5"
1700 x 2400 pixels at 300 DPI
B5 format
(Please correct me if I'm wrong on this)
So here's what I've come up for Aleynthi's second E-book. Please forgive the lack of color correction!

I think this type of format will give me more flexibility to tell interesting (and HOT!) stories.
Below are the two NSFW images that helped make up this panel.

Anyway, please let me know what you think. And thanks as always for being a Patreon! I very much appreciate your support.
