Living : Still here....making the best of it.
Health : no coronavirus, but the asthma like to have parties sometimes so yaay
Computer upgrades : gonna need a new ones soon, random shutdowns slowness 2600k is starting show its long teeth, hoping to keep my 1080ti I got from the old job, but it's severely bottle-necked so that doesn't help. Im going for a budget for about 2000$ dollars or so here's a breakdown of the components needed
Motherboard : ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus - 184$
Ram : CORSAIR Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB - 194$
CPU : AMD Ryzen 9 3950X - 749$
Cooling : CORSAIR Hydro Series, H100i RGB PLATINUM - 159$
GPU(maybe) : MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Ti -1,079$
may have to put a drive or 2 in for space but managing right now.
The path forward:
My main objective is to get outta my bro's place and away from these restriction freedoms, to do so looks like I'll need a lot more patrons have to get patreon to 5000$ and up to do so,
step one : fix the car
step two : find a place and move
step three: restore/restart life
Pretty simple lol, so if you guys know of any other places can put the game to attract some new patrons let me know.

I think I will keep my 1080 ti as long as possible. Hopefully the 3000 series will have more vram, as that my biggest eye catching feature.

2020-03-14 22:02:54 +0000 UTCOh yeah, I purchased a 2070 Super myself, as a placeholder until the 3080Ti comes out. If I could have found a good, used 1080Ti for $400 or below, I would have done that instead.

2020-03-13 04:31:14 +0000 UTCI'd hold on to your 1080Ti. We should (SHOULD) see the next generation of Nvidia cards this summer/fall, and purchasing a 2080Ti now doesn't make sense. I've seen 30-50% projected performance increase on the 3080Ti (name is a guess, of course), and Nvidia claims it may even be cheaper? Unless your current card suffers catastrophic failure, hold out if you can! I'm building a 3950X system right now too, just waiting on the SSDs I backordered.
