IT'S FINALLY DONE!! WE'RE FINALLY HERE!!! two full ass months and they're finally done ๐ญ and y'all were so encouraging through this, I wish I could better express my gratitude. I'm going through... a lot irl rn, and the fact that I was able to finish this at all feels like a miracle. I hope you like it!! I think it's the longest comic I've ever done in one sitting lol
Anyway, a little context is needed for this I suppose? This comic follows these two pictures I did of AfO breaking into the HPSC's headquarters and seducing our wee bird

All because All Might is ignoring her texts. The Big Fight between her and All Might happened, so just how is it AfO can move around after being basically killed? All Might, not wanting Hawks involved any more unless she's hurt, decides to give in and message back... wanting to know just wtf AfO is actually up to, wanting to know how she even survived.
(AfO just has a thing for messy haired blondes, and in her eyes All Might trying to kill her (and basically succeeding) was as good as a marriage proposal)

2024-04-09 23:06:10 +0000 UTCIt's taken far too long for me to get to this piece of gold. Your many hours of work on this are clear - it's beautiful, well paced, and feels very natural. From AfO's selfish impulsiveness, to All Might instinctively putting herself second to take care of others, to Hawks being too good at putting on a smile no matter the uncomfortable position she's been put in. I believe all of them. The different color scheme for each part of the comic was so fun. The bright bold colors of Hawks and All Might talking made the smash cut to the flashback of mostly grays so good. And the little hints/pops of color amongst the monochrome were a nice touch. Then the softer palette at the end felt so gentle for a scene that depicts the aftermath of violence. Love the contrast of that. And the lighting! Especially in the flashback - it's wonderful. It definitely adds to the tension of the moment. As always, the way you convey emotion through facial expressions is excellent. Even if it's just a close up shot of a mouth, it says so much more than if you showed their entire face. Page 10 alone - of the Kiss itself - is so perfectly done. It's beautiful, just like these ladies. And I really liked how you used Hawks' goggles after the kiss to show her trying to mask her feelings. The sudden opaqueness was a genius touch. Well done, seriously. This was a huge project yet it doesn't feel rushed or like you dragged on any part. It's just a damn great comic.
