Q&A #1 : Your questions - My answers

Last month I asked you to share your questions or feedback about the game, so I gathered them all and answered below.
If you enjoy reading this kind of post, we could definitely do it more often!

More sex please & also Fabien Dick looks different than on the begining

I see. I have plan to make more sex scenes, but when a route is over just to assure a coherent story, and then add scenes here and there (And yes, I had to change his dick at some point for technical reason so yeah, it evolved a little haha). As a reminder, when I started the game I knew absolutely nothing, I learned everything while doing the game :) If needed, I could review a bit some of the old scenes to make things more coherent, but that would be the final part of the game development.

If you need any brainstorming calls for alternative routes hit mw up and we can talk a little about alternatives.

I'm fully open if you have ideas we can share, a call can be a bit difficult, but a chat on discord no problem, it's something we can organize (with SBBD & Jammy too as they know very well what's behind almost everything haha…). It's definitely something I love : hearing ideas, more voices and perspectives are always appreciated, even if I can't take everything, it's food for thought you know :)

I think doubting sounds like a perfect idea, cause we all been there thinking of is it that what I want? Do we really just want this or is there any other person that completes me.

It's also something I have in mind, and in the same time I feel like some phases took too much time so I'm hesitating a lot on what's the best. I test and if something is definitely wrong depending on your feedbacks, I could change things to make it better.

I dont mind going some time without a sex scene. I think building tention so the sex scenes feels earned so much hotter tbh

It's definitely something I agree with, I mean frustration is also part of pleasure when things finally happens, and it gives a bit of tension between characters. I don't know if I do things well, but it's the goal behind it. However, I think - in the same time - that some "casual" scenes with Tim, Peter, Carlos and even Jin could be easily added here and there, something to work on !

I like the idea of potential story arc changes big and small. The characters already feel very real so it would be natural for them to have doubt and relationship tests. maybe even Fabian could be tested himself

Do they get caught by someone? maybe the real story about Fabian and the teacher (names escape me) comes to light (Does Matt believe the story?)

Who is "they" ? Fabien and the teacher… yeah, I think it could be a side story to develop. Fabien never wanted to speak more about it...

I fully understand the mind-numbing task of creating multiple path options, but it's great that you are willing to listen to ideas. I've found it helps with inspiration going forward to writing the additional story sections.

Definitely yes, I mean, I did a lot alone, I get some support time to time from SBBD and Jammy mainly, but I doubt a lot myself about everything haha. Each update is a challenge and this is why your feedbacks, stories, ideas, are so important to me :)

So I think what I really want to know is: what inspired the characters, and where did you get the looks from?

The looks came from my imagination. I mean, I started from existing assets and adapted them to match what I had in mind.

Mat — To me, he’s the “good boy” (in the best sense!). He’s got a lot of questions about life, very focused on his future, maybe too much to really think about relationships. I tried to make him look like the kind of guy who’s always first in class. And yes, he’s got a big dick — I wanted that contrast between what’s under his pants and his lack of confidence, to show that size doesn’t define anything… if that makes any sense.

Fabien — Quite similar to Mat in some ways, but he looks more mature, more confident (at least in appearance). His personality is meant to be protective, which is why he’s muscular. I wanted him to be attractive to many people — the “perfect son-in-law” type. He’s a character I’d probably tweak a bit physically today (I’ve always had issues with his skin tone, lol).

Carlos — The best friend, the one with whom anything can happen. He’s the fun guy, not necessarily the type you’d spend your life with — and that’s fine, because that’s not what Carlos wants either. He’s just cool.

Jin — A mystery. Even for me. He’s a mix of many things, and I wanted him to look younger, even if he’s not really the youngest. He’s the kind of guy you can’t easily read or understand, and you never really know what he’s capable of. His looks don’t reflect who he truly is.

As for what inspired the characters — at least these ones — they all carry a part of myself. Each of them reflects fragments of my life, my story, or my experiences. Not everything, of course, but enough to say they’re all pieces of one personality — maybe even fragments of everyone’s personalities.

I am also interested — when do you consider the game as “complete”? Do you actually want the other partners to have an ending too?

First of all, this is Mat’s story before anyone else’s. His connection with Fabien (whether sexual or not) is much older and deeper than with anyone else — it’s a long-term story between them when you think about it.

That being said, I’ll consider the game “complete” once there are satisfying endings for all possible couples.

The real question behind that is: which couples do I actually consider “real” ones? :p

As for the rest, I’ll see based on your feedback, feelings, and reactions — which stories I want to conclude within the main game, and which ones might become side stories, to explore certain relationships or characters in more depth.

How much do you plan to develop an eventual Steve route? And how many updates do you foresee for the game until you consider it “complete”?

Honestly, I don’t really know yet — for several reasons.

Even if I already (almost!) know how each route will end, there are still many parts inside the story — not just the endings — that need to be developed to keep everything coherent.

So it’s hard to say “how many updates until the end.” Part of the answer is what I said above: it’s more about how long it’ll take to make it right.

At some point, I’d like to take some time to work on a second game (I already have the idea), but I definitely can’t work on two games at the same time.

The fact that I’m currently on sabbatical is great, because it allows me to work on the game more than ever.

But since it’s a game with NSFW sex scenes, I can’t really spend 10 hours a day on it, every day — sometimes I just don’t have ideas, lol. I’m not a bot — I really need to be in the right mood to write those scenes, frankly speaking xD

Regarding Steve — it’s honestly hard to develop that route further, for several “political” reasons (mainly due to the rules enforced by many US-based platforms... even if all characters are 18+ and fully consenting).

I don’t want to get into politics here, but let’s just say it’s complicated. But, could be easier with Jin or Carlos, for instance.

Maybe once the main game is complete, I could create some “special” side stories exploring that path more freely — something to download directly from Discord or so. I mean, I can tell that Mat imagined a lot of things with Steve ^^
