For R selected, high amount of offspring will hopefully result in some of them surviving. Extremely High rate of reproduction and low care i.e. Bugs, swine, fish. For K-selected strategy, lower rate of reproduction but a much higher level of care i.e. Apes, primates, Cows, humans. Thanks for coming to me TED talk.
