It matters your education, job, your economic class, your parents education and jobs and any assets your family may have such as a house a car any property. If you are an orphan or raised by a single parent you are viewed as lesser because it would indicate you are poor and don’t have a lot of opportunities. Unfortunately in Asian countries because it’s not just Korea to marry someone, family has to approve because it’s families that are marrying each instead of just the individuals.
