Everyone knows shes a murderer. The extent at which we care just varies lol. AdorkableNerd not listening to any of it. You’ll hear me try to be reasonable a few times but I actually only do that so you know…we know.
But other than that….just love Madam. She can do no wrong even when she does wrong.
Nobody calls a god a murderer for sending the flood. Because we respect the full autonomy of a god.
Madam is a goodness. Everything she does…is as it should be lol.
We know Anna has NO GOOD Reason to trust or like Madam. But we sympathize with Madam. Lmao. We just do because to me…to us…Madam is the main character. She sells the show, she’s captivating for us..she draws us in. So everything we feel is through the lense of Madam and her ideals. #Chiefkim

I, myself, enjoy the Madam character and her relationship with K2, but if one of you guys preferred Anna over Madam, I would have loved that too cause I would have seen a different perspective. It's great when we love characters and want to defend them, but I think it's important to acknowledge when they mess up too. And I completely agree with you guys that I felt like he dropped the ball as well with doing his job of protecting Anna AND also kinda betraying Madam at the same time. So in a way he failed both Madam and Anna. But I agree also that his unconventional 'wolf' genes make him an asset to change the game, but Madam has lived this political life to the bone, so she knows her stuff too. I really enjoy hearing your guy's discussions about all the characters, even the minor ones, and their actions and motivations. It makes it more interesting when watching your reactions; like how one of you guys saw K2's actions as a betrayal, another as him having poor work ethics, and another mentioning his lack of control of the situation and the uncle having all the power. Great reaction!

And if by doing that he can take a jab at madam who he lowkey also despises : two birds with one stone. This series does a job at giving you a villain with a heart. But Madam is still a villain. At least from Anna's and other victim's perspective. We have the whole picture and they don't. Having a sad origin story is good for understanding her but it should not excuse all the horrible things she has done.

I felt the same too but not because i like madam but because between madam and her brother, madam is the lesser evil. We know her boundaries and how she operates. When it comes to her brother, him always smiling makes me uncomfortable and there exists a possibility that he is allied with k2's enemy so yeah...

Madam is a bad person (PHENOMENAL actress, though, I love her!), just like everyone working against her. None of them are good people. We can sympathize with how Madam got that way; she definitely was an innocent victim of the people around her at one point, but she DECIDED to become evil just like them. She has choices and she CHOOSES to kill people. Anna believes Madam killed her mother and knows for a fact Madam tried to kill her a couple days ago. There's no way she would sympathize with this woman at all. Anna is also naive and doesn't understand everything that's going on around her, but like children often do, she thinks she understands. She's trying to make moves based on her limited understanding, so her moves aren't going to be the best ones. And K2 has always held Madam in contempt because he thinks she's just as bad as all the people around her. He's never liked her. He's always done what he needed to do to use her resources to kill Park Gwan Soo. He will always choose Anna over Madam because out of the two of them, even if Anna's choices aren't good ones, she's innocent and doesn't try to kill people.

I mean yeah, he definitely feels sorry for her life because he is a good guy but that's all. So yeah, now it's all about Anna.

I mean he feels sorry for Madam's life because he is a good guy but that's all, there was never more to be surprised. And Anna?! Well, Madam tried to kill her a few times so I would side with my enemy's enemy too in her place, I would go even crazier. I was also shocked that Lee and Director didn't wanted for K2 to go in Anna's room🤣

Example when she called of the ambulance when Anna was dying so its better to gamble at this point she could get snipped up at any point and time by madam.

2025-01-16 09:00:49 +0000 UTCI feel like k2 is trying to respect Anna's choices and opinions since no one has ever done so for her. He said in a past ep that she gets to make choices now. And even if Anna believes that she killed her mom or it was suicide madam still put her through hell so I would also rather work with my enemy's enemy. Love madam as a character but as k2 said she is as evil as the people she fights no matter how innocent she was in the past the moment she killed and went after innocent people there are no excuses (the old farming couple for example they did nothing lol). So I feel like he looks at her with kinda disgust in a way (also only works for her to get his revenge) and navigates towards the innocent damsel types like Anna and Ranyah. sorry for the long as comment also eng is not my first language so hopefully I got my words across correctly :)

2025-01-16 08:57:20 +0000 UTCI like Madam's character as much as everyone else, but let's not forget that she tried to kill Anna a couple of days ago with zero hesitation. Wouldn't it be bad writing for Anna to have any faith or sympathy for Madam? Madam banished Anna from her country at a young age, possibly killed her mother, and ordered several hits on her. Whether she cares for Anna or not, we still don’t know. Regardless, just two days ago, she sent out three snipers, a knife-wielder, and John Wick on a kill-on-sight mission to take Anna out. As for the K2's blunder, I think Lee pretty much nailed it, J4 has been protecting Anna way before K2 got in the picture, so it makes sense for him to trust her.
