2025-01-17 01:39:21 +0000 UTCIn Babylonian, Greek, and Roman myth and classical alchemy there is a concept known as the Seven Classical Planets which are the celestial bodies visible to the naked eye, The Moon, The Sun, Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, Mercury, and Mars. The city of Rome was built ontop of seven hills known as the Septem Colles. The Greeks also associated the number with the goddess Athena and therefore wisdom. If there is a reason it the number was signifincant to these cultures before this I do not know, however it historical, mythological, and religious significance has certainly kept the number important in modern storytelling

Starting with the Bible, God made the world in 6 days and on the 7th he rested, the 7 trumpets you mentioned at 1:00 are in the Book of Revelations and the number seven comes up hundreds of other times in the Bible. Since I'm talking about the Bible and numbers, 13 is considered unlucky because Judas is the 13th Apostle.
