My first book will naturally not be the best despite my effort to make it the best. I have no experience. But this certainly has helped me avoid certain thoughts or fix problems I had trying to write

I've been working on a book for years lol, but it's taken too long due to perfection. So I guess my 2 cents are "Excellence through action", it's better to produce something even though it might not be "perfect". Hoping to publish my book this year tho.

2025-01-15 16:43:45 +0000 UTCI've heard plenty of BS but I'm mostly familiar with his work on WoT after Robert Jordan's passing still need to read the last 2 I've been putting it off for years also I heard the Amazon show basically ignored his input crazy how they spent all that money on Rings and also destroyed the WoT at the same time

2025-01-15 15:45:56 +0000 UTCI haven’t seen his lecture series but it’s definitely worth it to read some of his Mistborn and/or Stormlight Archive books to get a feel for how he handles prose and building characters and worlds. Sanderson is a great resource if you’re working on a book!
