Yeah..q they said she had a severe allergy to strawberries. Saying her allergy is severe equates to a peanut and bee sting allergy. Without immediate epinephrine, you are a goner. She had a mild attack because she was good after that mouth to mouth lol. So I deduced that he gave her a tiny bit, or maybe not even strawberry; rather something that mimics a reaction. He finally understood that she is not being protected; rather, held against her will. He needed to gain her trust since his interactions with her have been minimal at best. It's all just a theory but think this is what's happening.

I don't agree with all of it (I don't think he knew about the allergy but each to their own) but you're so right about him using the opportunity for gathering intel and finding out intentions and trying to take control!! I didn't consciously realize this until you mentioned it and now I love his character and the show even more!!

2025-01-14 20:48:29 +0000 UTCFrom my observation, he sees Anna as a failed mission. With his fiance, he was blindsided, had no control, and was kept in the dark resulting in her death. When he first opted to help Anna, it was against his better judgment which resulted in failure due to the same factors of him being caught off guard, not in control, and blind to what was going on. Now he feels he has been given a second chance where he can control the situation. He is trained to read and manipulate people. You cant possibly believe he was unaware of her allergy. He knew about her strawberry allergy and just how much to give her. His acting was on par. He used her allergic reaction to put her in cloud nine for safety and observe the behavioral responses of everyone around her including step mom, dad, security, etc. It's the only was he can collect intel and find out who is who and what their intentions were. In doing this, he has managed to win the trust of all four sides...Anna, stepmom, security and dad. Now he is in control of the narrative. They are just to drunk with privilege and arrogance to see he is dictating all of their actions. This show is so good.

When you have a series with so many moving parts, it's hard to remember events, people, and actions from the earlier episodes. Some shows require (recaps) in their contract with streaming sites to aid the series transition flow and avoid the viewer feeling like "This show is all over the place." Our memories are often fresh from the previous episode so the recap often includes the people, events, and actions including minor details that never aired from earlier episodes. The recap tells you what the current episode will be about and for this episode, it included events way from Ep 1, 2, and 3; as oppose to just picking up from the last episode. Whew....that all for now...just adding a little perspective.

They have that crazy 6 minute recaps on start and that is why it tries to end before the episode is concluded as the player counts only the real shows minutes. 1 vs 1 fight was nice, I think neither won it was just concluded as the goal of the Strike Team came to halt.

And just to offer a little bit of context, I'm sure that the actress(Yoona) who plays Anna seems fine to most us, I mean objectively, she is pretty but in Korea and even Asia she is like a godess, she fits their standards. She is also in a girl group that was huge in kpop and this it's how I heard about her at the beginning, many popular males idols and actors mentioned her, I knew her by the name even before seeing her😂 Anna is also supposed to be really pretty and I think this it's one of the reasons for casting her in this kdrama so yeah, they can literally go on streets to search for her.
