I skipped through most of the finale, idk how we got there. But I did enjoy the majority of the show. I did wonder though why they were afraid to make the characters have realistic injuries. They gave us a whole scene like park had died and then next scene he's was alive and very well. Fell off a cliff and didn't even break a finger but I'm nitpicking.

Completely unrelated, I was going through the Extracurricular reactions again and my goodness. The show and reactions are top tier gold shit. It's very binge worthy. Director and your discussions are hilarious af highly recommend to anyone to check out. after revisiting it Extracurricular is DEFINITELY up there on my list.

Ahhh I almost forgot that fake war in a fake country geez don’t get me started on that. They used to say Africa back in the day all the time now they are trying something different but is still awkward n tone deaf why can they use their real conflict yk North Korea or one of the many other wars currently happening. Overall lazy writing at the end is all

From what I can tell this could have been told in 10 episodes if you skip some of the “what ifs” daydreaming sequences in particular on episode 11 and 12 like they were basically writing that to milk how we felt about the lead couple. What they failed to understand we already loved them they suffered enough they overcame n all that extra should have never been in the script.
So….
1. Making it 12 episodes instead of 10
2. The whisper secret was something the audience knew. No I’m not giving the character any slack in how he didn’t know how to deal etc it was redundant and extra drama for shock value only
3. I think we are all getting tired of the regular tropes we see then too often n nothing feels original when you add them in. The story without the tropes was beautiful on is own.
4. Tiresome characters (the super villain that never dies soon) etc. It has been done to death at this point
5. Last but not least the fixed pace of kdramas… always the last 4 episodes have to be over the top in sadness because they feel that’s the only way for a happy ending. A good script doesn’t need to rely on this cheap tricks to grip u n keep u glue to the tv.
Biggest mistakes with writers they start good then they start to adhere to the tropes n rules of kdramas n they simply fumble the ball each time

Yea exactly. I am still glad i watched it. Its a good drama and folks may not recommend it and its momentum may die. So i am gkad to cover it at it’s peak and we enjoyed it.

This is interesting because you're actually experiencing why currently airing shows don't get recommended. I wonder if this show would have won any polls for recommendations based on the reaction to the end.
But at the same time, the start of the season and watching it along was still cool.
