Krai never once says that he regrets this life. He may lack motivation and want to do other things, but he doesn’t resent this title and life that was pushed onto him, because after the introduction scene from the first episode, the way he was talking it makes you THINK, that his friends moved on, that they left him behind, but they didn’t. It could have been a really sad story about him trying to make it alone in the world and rebuilding everything out of sadness or spite. If anything, the only thing that Krai really does regret throughout the whole thing, is that he can’t keep up with his friends as an adventurer. I started to read the light novel and it does touch a bit on why Krai lacks motivation, and why his friends stand behind him 100% but I’m hoping the anime will go into that in the next cour/season. Either way I loved this show hope it continues beyond just what’s coming next!

2025-01-10 22:56:57 +0000 UTCFor me personally, Notorious Talker is better and I enjoyed it more than Grieving Souls. But in general I would say that Notorious Talker is just as enjoyable as Grieving Soul, if not better.

It's like saying you should only watch Mushoku over Slime because they're both about a guy who gets reincarnated into a small body. In reality, MT and Slime have vastly different plots and subject matter and stand on their own without overlapping the other. That being said, I'm really looking forward to Season 2 of Let my boy retire! The ending to season 1 was satisfying and funny.

I think this is one of my fav reaction in the channel lately, all of you seemed completely immersed and having fun. Hopefully we will see more comedy reactions in the future. I was backing Talker since early on and i still would watch a reaction. BUT a big but is its last season now and its not "good enough" to justify making a reaction instead of this season's maybe even better shows instead. 2025-01-10 03:43:58 +0000 UTCAnthem Smart is basically THE Tank/Healer in the world (well excepting maybe one of the members of the only Level 10 party in the world, but that's literally like 3 people only, all Level 10 Hunters), as well as the member w/ the highest PR out of the Grievers because of his personality etc (and the only one w/ a bitch, instead of being a single scrub). I honestly think having even a single Noble Spirit in your squad makes you busted af, since Noble Spirits are racist af towards 99% of non-Noble Spirits by definition
